This past weekend I travelled to La Crosse (SW Wisconsin) for a book signing at the University Bookstore. It was a special, nostlagic trip as I spent many years there as an undergraduate (admittedly, more years than it should have taken!) and have not been there in nearly a decade. Much has changed in that time, both at the college (no more Juicy Lucy's Burger Joint) & in me. The signing was a success, and I also had the opportunity to attend a Campus Crusade for Christ kick-off meeting and was thrilled to see 300 college students gathered to worship God and hear solid Biblical teaching that pointed towards a better way. The campus seemed to come alive in my eyes thanks to this meeting; alive in a way that I had not seen or felt during my days at this Mississippi River town. It was encouraging, to say the least.
The race continues.
